December 8, 2020

We were all taught it’s what on the inside that counts, but let’s be real… the outside is super important as well! Well, at least when it comes to gift wrap! This year we wanted to keep our holiday wrap neutral because Hanukkah and Christmas fall on the same week, so it made it easy to keep all of our gifts to be wrapped together.  We looked to Minted for some fab gift wrap (they have soooo many amazing options) and decided to customize the toppers with neon moments!  Get involved.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Wrapping paper from Minted
We used Blue Floral Boquest, Shibori Lines, and Handdrawn Plus

Pieces of garland and holly- ours our all faux

Spray paint
We used fluorescent pink and orange

Assorted Ribbon from Minted
We used Navy and Gold

We kinda had the blues for the holidays, but in the best possible way.  And the neon sprays were the perfect unexpected accent!

We used faux garland, but real works too! You may need to give it a coat of white before you go with the neons though!

Head outside to spray the garland, some parchment or newspaper.  Spray the garland so that it is fully covered on all sides.

Safety first! You may want to wear gloves and a mask to protect yourself.

Look at that color POP!

Once the garland is dry place them again with their intended presents, it’s time for final touches!

Got your tape handy? Start by wrapping ribbon around your gift. Once you’re happy with the look cut and tie it down. Use a piece of tape to keep it all in place.

Weave the neon garland into the wrapped ribbon.

Continue this with the rest of your presents!

Happy wrapping! xoxo
